aligning your coh case to god's will:
(Bonus material for COH)
aligning your coh case to god's will
(bonus material for courts of heaven sessions)
This info is adapted from Chapter 12 of Robert Henderson's book: Unlocking Destinies from the Courts of Heaven.
To receive the best possible outcome of a Courts of Heaven case, we don't want to base the case on our need, but on God's purpose for us. When God was about to destroy Israel, Moses did not intercede for them based on their need, but on the basis of God's purpose in Israel, His reputation, and His promises. (See Exodus 32:10-14).
Our chief motivation for seeking out our destiny shouldn't solely be our happiness, but that God's purpose will be done in the earth. Instead of focusing on our need, we want to appeal to God based on His interest in the matter. In the Courts we can remind Him of what's written in our Heavenly book that's connected to His purpose on the earth. So when we express what we are seeking for in the courts of Heaven, seek to align it with these 3 things:
1. His purpose
2. His reputation and Name
3. His Covenant keeping nature and promises
Instead of presenting a case based on, "I need vindication because I was hurt and treated unfairly in this situation," you could instead present it by appealing to the 3 above points:
I am seeking justice because:
1: God's purpose for me is that I walk in victory, the abundant life, and overcome all works of darkness
2: I seek to live for His glory and to set a Christ-like example, therefore I want these slanderous accusations against me reversed for the sake of His reputation and name
3: God promises vindication for His children, because Isaiah 54:17 says, "'No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,' Says the LORD."
You could test your Level of Consciousness (LOC) in regards to how aligned you are with these 3 values concerning your goal for the Courts of Heaven session. If your LOC is low, you could rephrase your goal to align more with these 3 values, then retest the LOC. Think of how your victory in the situation would further God's purpose in the earth and His reputation. Also, find promises in the Bible that support your case to bring before the Courts. You can formulate your own statement, or you could also form a statement by muscle testing for words that would best describe what your goal should be in the courts session.
